So im on the dating survive  eHarmony just to have a good laugh to see how they would set me up with. but... eharmony doesn't give you the opion to seek: Male Male or Female Female

*grumbles*

KoutaKun

that sucks man. so e-harmoney isnt same sex friendly?? that really sucks * pats back*
There are two types of ppl in this world, those who do what there told, and those who are true to them selves. Most people think your suppose to follow a predetermend path, keep your head down, obay the rules, do what evers popular, but some prefer to find there own path in life.

Some Guy

eHarmony is a christian-run dating service website =/  thats why it isnt same sex friendly...

Xen Garden

Try plenty of fish, they let you do same sex, and it's free!

TarekCoyote

I saw ads on tv about a free eharmony weekend thinger so I gave it a shot. It's nothing but crap anyways, even with the "free" weekend you couldn't see potential matches pictures, you still had to pay for that.
Annoying pos eharmony is.

But ya, plenty of fish, whether for a joke or serious, that's actually a successful one (my dad used it to meet his current GF)
All i want in life... is life.

PPFFT; hahaha Okay THAT was cheesy.

Xen Garden

I know many people that use it, and they all found wonderful girlfriends/boyfriends. I don't need a dating site to find someone though. I already have too many people that like me, and it makes me sad to tell them I'm not interested.

Blue Dragonwolf

*big sigh* Ya, I tryed that site for a whole year but it was a no go, because of my job and sleeping in the daytime I have 0 chance to find a mate, I'm on christianmingle.com but that too seems to be a no go.

Not that I'm saying "poor me" I'm just feeling that the chances of this dragonwolf finding someone will be like wining the 1.000.000 at a scrach and win.  Partly because I'm a christian, partly cause I'm not bi or gay, partly cause of my job and partly cause of my age that I feel doomed, I'll still keep looking sure but I'm not having any hopes much.
Kindness is everything, I feel that even if you are angry or sad one can still be kind.

Blue

In my experience its when you stop looking that the right person finds you... I met Kyris under really odd circumstances, and really, anything is possible. And I don't think that being a Christian or the job you do should ever hurt your chances at meeting Mrs. Right. You ought to lose the negativity - stop thinking that you are not worthy, or that it is hopeless, and you will see.... Call it my hunch *grins knowingly*

I agree with Blue. Once I stopped trying to look, I had people try to come after me. And I'm happy with the results because of it. I saw which guys wanted me for me and the ones who wanted me just to get laid. It took a while, but it was well worth the wait.

Rukario

Yeah I signed up as well for their free weekend thing.  I found the majority of their questions on their stupid survey to be total BS, I never finished it.  Now they pester me with at least 2-3 emails a day for me to finish, even after deleting my account.  I was unaware that it was Christian-run; that explains a lot.  FFS I'll be 40 next year, and still single!  Even so, I'm probably too cynical to get into another relationship again.

I never said that, I just don't think that your religion should necessarily define you. I am not one to say "I am not going to date that man" because of his dogma, I feel that somewhat shallow. I will only say that when the guy says "You are going to hell when you die because of your beliefs, let's get some coffee sometime?" lmao :3

(p.s. that's never happened to me, just an example lol)

Religion is only important to me when it comes to dating because people bash at the fact I practice Wicca. People seem to think it's a devil worshiping religion.

If the person doesn't care on the other hand, then I don't find religeous beliefs to be all that important.

Blue

I agree on that, Wrath  :birdy:

I was just making a silly, anti-religion quote, not directed at anyone and the smiley was supposed to be the eye-roll one.

Ahaha awesome line!

In all honesty I don't care what anyone's religion is or what they believe in. Just don't try to force it on other folks, that I dislike very much.
