Gundam 00 i found was extremely epic and was done just like Gundam Wing, the Gundam series has been around for over 20 years and still going strong, for those of you who dont know what Gundams are i will show you what GUNDAM stands for:

-General
-Unilateral
-Neuro - Link
-Dispersive
-Autonomic
-Maneuver
G.U.N.D.A.M Synthesis System

These systems were build to rid the world of war and bring peace, but neutral forces and unknown people stole a few gundams and waged war against the people of earth and the people of the colonies in space.

Other than Gundam Wing, this was the only Gundam series I really enjoyed. It wasn't boring like Gundam Seed and any of the others. This one had a great story and cool looking gundams.

i totally concur with what you just said ^^ , Seed was okay, Destiny was boring to hell, 08th MS Team was a bit better, and now this is the end result :) damn i like it.

i loved how in Season 1 they made it look like all the characters Died, but in season 2 they are back in Phase 2 of "The Plan" for Celestial Being.

was really thrilling, though end of the 1st season was i was crying cuz Lockon died D:

Though Gundam Seed was really really good, it didn't really stand up to Gundam Wing in my opinion, but then there was 00.  it blew Seed out of the water and is tied with Gundam Wing and Code Geass as my favorite anime series.  SO AWSOME WANT MORE GUNDAM 00!!! ;D ;D ;D

The Gundam Acronym in SEED is merely one of the acronyms used in the series.

In the original UC Era, on the Gundam Acronym stands for
General-purpose
Utility
Non
Discontinuity
Augmentation
Maneuvering weapon system

Later UC Era suits use the following Gundam Acronym
Gamma
UNificational
Dimalium
Amalgam
Mobile-suit

In the Wing series, Gundams are named after Gundanium Alloy.

In the SEED Era, there're so many Gundam Acronyms that its over used.

00 was a very good Gundam series till it reached the final few episodes. The final Season 2 Episode went great, but left somewhat of a strange aftertaste IMO. The poetic final duel as a tribute to the new surpassing the old is well done IMO.
