You can't time travel in fursuit.  I mean, it's hard enough time traveling as it is without the fursuit, and suppose you wind up in the past.  You'll probably get chased by the locals with spears and bows and pitchforks as they scream "KILL THE DEMON!" or something to that effect.  On the other hand, you could wind up as the God of some locals and become the origins of their myths and legends.  So, if you're shooting for temporal displacement, I'd say the odds of it working out to your benefit are 50/50.
