Looking for a few people for improvements and ideas for a card game idea that I had come up with that is somewhat similar to solitaire or spider solitaire.

The game I have in mind can be played either solo, with two players or a kind of battle mode with three players. I'm going to focus on the single player game here for now. Jokers will not be used in the deck for this game.

The general goal of the games is to create what can be called a chain of cards from Ace to King (with the ace on the bottom) out of each of the four suites. When a chain is finished, it is removed from play and set aside.

Unlike solitaire though, this game starts you off with three rows of ten cards, all of which are facing up, called the Stacks. The remainder of the cards will create the draw pile, which works in the same fashion as does the draw pile in a game of three card pull solitaire.

In the stack, the top most cards are considered to be in play. One exception to this rule is when you have a string of cards of the same suite together in numbered order, with the lowest number at the bottom of the string. (Ex: You have a 6 of hearts on top with a 5 of hearts below that. And a 4 of hearts below the 5. You may move the three cards together as one)

A card may be taken from the top of one stack or from the upper most card pulled from the play pile and placed onto a card, in the stacks, of the next lesser value of the same suite. (ex: you are playing the 7 of hearts, which can only be played on top of a 6 of hearts in one of the stacks.)

When one of the three stacks is empty, only an Ace of any of the remaining suites may be played in that place to create a new stack.

I'd try this out but I don't have a set of cards with me right now. A few thoughts of my own: instead of an ace to replace a missing stack, allow the use of any card to replace a stack. Or the use of a safety stack be permitted in which up to three cards can be held onto, but only the upper most card can be used at any time. A version of the safety stack would be used in the two player and battle matches I was thinking but that's for another topic.

Thoughts?
