Is my art good enough to do commissions?

So I do art. I don't think it's amazing, but I like to think I'm decent at it. Decent enough that I do consider me being an artist to be a big part of who I am. I've thought about doing commission work, but I'm not feeling too confident about that. I'm extremely self-critical, especially with my digital art (I don't have quite as much experience with digital, but that would be my only option with this kinda thing, because I lack a scanner, or even a good camera. My digital doesn't look bad, but it definitely looks different). i feel like I might be thinking too highly of myself to even consider commission work an option, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. Another thing that makes me hesitant is my age. Assuming you haven't checked my profile, I'm only sixteen. I feel like most people would probably be hesitant to buy art from someone this young. Idk, I'm not quite as concerned about that
What do you think? Do I have any kind of chance with this kinda thing? I really want to hear some feedback.  :-\
Here's my FA gallery. There's not much there currently, but this is all i have for furry artwork, and I do plan to update it regularly

Regardless, thanks for taking the time to read this  ;D

While your artwork looks great and I definitely say keep going with it, I would not suggest taking commissions until you are 18 unless you have your parents consent and they are helping you with the process. This is for many reasons including legal liability ones.

Yeah, that makes sense. Idk, ther's a few people I talk to regularly who do commissions, who told me not to worry about that, so I figured it wouldn't be a problem. But yeah, I see your point. Okay, thanks :D

If someone submits a paypal dispute against you, and they discover you're not 18, you can become banned from using their platform.

Considering you might make at most, 100$ off of commissions at this stage. It isn't worth the risk. It's far more productive to find a part-time job since it will qualify as proper work experience. You'll also make far more spending money which will allow you to invest in things like a nice tablet or art classes. With art classes you'll learn how to draw realistically which will see a massive improvement in the quality of your furry art and will allow you to get more commissions once you get old enough to take them.

Okay, I get what you mean. Thank you  :)

Your art looks great. Make a journal, test the waters, earn money. Art is about having fun and drawing what you like. If the only reason you're doing comissions is because you want to earn money then I'd say they aren't for you. If it just so happens that you want to get paid doing something you love then don't let anyone stop you.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. Still, as great as money is, I've decided that sticking with trades and stuff is good too, and I might as well, just to play it safe. Unless I get an opportunity to get commissioned in person, which I don't see happening anytime soon, I think I might play it safe for a bit longer.  :)
Thanks for the support anyway though, I really appreciate it ;D
