I'm in BC for the summer and plan on coming back Christmas break, cause Im going back to school in another province.

It's too bad there isn't a second VancouFur around Xmas time. Looks like such a fun con.
I started working on my first fursuit head project today.  Probably won't turn out too good.

I was going to use a tutorial that required a balaclava but not now. Oh well.

Only I altered parts with plastic canvas so I don't use up all my foam XD
Still a lot to do. For eyes I'll check out follow me eye tutorials and need to find Buckram at a fabric store somewhere.

You'll be happy to know that there is a sorta second smaller VancouFur during the time that you'll be here, called Howloween. No exact date for this year has been announced, but it's usually happening the first weekend of November. You might want to consider checking it out as a lot of the furs that go to VF also go to Howl.

Welcome! I'm in Victoria and I have quite a bit of experience in fursuit making, you can send me a message if you need any help! And you can get Buckram at fabricland but it's pretty difficult to see through for new fursuiters, so you could get some plastic mesh and it looks just as great!

Hey sorry I didn't reply for a long time. I'm back in BC now trying to find a job & save up for school
Bought a resin base & working on furring it but it looks pretty weird at the moment haha!
