Putting any Lovecraft story on the silver screen these days with out ridiculous amounts of flashy CG animation and bad acting is a insurmountable task for any director and producer. From Beyond was released in the 9170's one of the reasons it is so cheesy. Then again I was already insane before watching this movie *cackles maniacally*
