welcome to the community    keep your eyes on the calendar for upcoming events.  go to a dinnermeet such as tuesday sushi, located at 26 4th ave in new westminster.  the entrance is about 25 ft downhill from the east exit of the columbia skytrain station.  attend private meets held at a home.  ask permission to attend as some events are space limited.

make sure you attend Howlowe'en at the executive hotel in burnaby.  see you there.

I would say go at a slower pace and don't try to take it all in at once. There is many layers to the fandom and it's easy to get overwhelmed
