Okey...I went to start a game on my PC called "Oblivion" and nicely got a winsdows 10 upgrade on my computer. but the windows or OS is not letting me play this game, "Fallout 3" seems to be working just fine the windows let me play that game but not "Oblivion". No idea why, can anyone here help me please? Maybe some tips/steps would help or a video on how to fix that problem?

Hmm. Seems a recurring problem between Win10 and Oblivion.

I don't have the game to test this myself. The only thing I've found that was confirmed to work:

(I'm Windows 8 so I hope this is similar to 10)

-Goto C:\Users\JohnUser\Documents\my games\Oblivion
('JohnUser' will be replaced by the name of your Windows profile, I hope. If it's different, just look for 'My Documents' or 'Documents' and follow the rest from there)

-Find and delete Oblivion.ini
(If the file is just called 'Oblivion', right click it, select 'properties'. In the new poped up window select the 'Details' tab at the top, in  that list will be 'Name' with the full filename beside it. If it's the 'Oblivion.ini' delete it.)

I hope this works. :-D Let me know if you have some trouble.

I'm having issues with a few games that have "controller support" and even if there's no controller plugged in even tho i have xbone drivers installed the mouse will freak out.

this was a similar problem windows 8 had with older games

You may need Oblivion in compatibility mode to an older version of windows. That usually always fixes problems I've run into

With the mouse issue. I may of had a similar problem when I got PS3 controllers to run on the computer.
See if there's drivers for the mouse, check the mouse manufacturers website, they'll probably have the most up to date version. Install those after you've got the XBox Controllers set up. Then see if both begin to work properly.

Are you using the Microsoft Software and XBox Controller Dongle?

The mouse may also just be worn out, try another mouse if you can, see if it helps the situation.

Hmm. I'm not familiar with 3rd party Xbox adapters. Your mouse still freaks with the USB adapter removed, eh?

May be an issue. Even if you install the proper mouse drivers, whenever you plug in the controller adapter it may override the mouse drivers you installed with the ones stored on the XBOX adapter.

For some stupid reason Legit XBOX dongles are sooo expensive. :/

What's the Adapter manufacture, and model number? and mouse model number? You can type it here and I'll check, or you can try Google, something like "How to xxx compatible with yyy". If you're not sure about model number, I can help you out. It's probably a 4-8 digit sequence. Usually starting with one or two letters. (eg. 'DV-9500' or 'G750') just examples, may be completely different.

From what I know.
Try a different mouse. Your current mouse may have been kinked or just worn out and needs to be replaced by coincidence.
If it's a low end company mouse, there may be compatibility issue.
If it's a mouse 10+ years old it may have a confliction running beside the XBOX controllers.
There might be updated drivers from the mouse manufacturer's website, that are better then the ones stored on the mouse which may work.

I'll need to know what company the XBOX adapter came from for me to be able to search deeper into this. Your mouse brand would be cool too.

If you're not using the XBOX dongle. What software are you using to set up the controllers to run on the computer?
