Added, but I don't see many people ever connect to this still.  Should be lastest Bukkit for 1.7.10, though, and I still keep it running!

Might be worth looking into the Feed The Beast packs, depends how much people are invested in the current server.

I've created a BC Furries Mumble server, and I gave your SMP server your own Panel on the gaming floor info here

I'd actually been running a private Mumble instance on my own server as well, but it's not a big deal - the Minecraft servers I'd been hosting have all long been abandoned, archived, and shut down by now.  As of many months ago, in fact.

I'm running a temporary alpha test of a custom modpack right now, but that will likely die in favour of something out of either the ATLauncher or FTB, depending on who builds a similar pack (DW20 is close, but I prefer Mekanism & Thermal Expansion over IC2).  Maintaining a custom modpack is a *pain*. ;/

That said, if anyone else wants to pick this sort of thing up, I wouldn't mind them taking over and having them link their server(s) in here.  I just don't have time any more.  Thanks!

So! I am still running modded Minecraft servers these days - in particular, I've settled on the FTB Infinity Evolved pack, with two instances - a 'regular' mode, and one with the new (downright insane) 'expert mode' recipes enabled.

If you ever wanted to have to build a coke oven to make creosote to treat the sticks that make the handle of a hammer to hammer ingots into plates just to make a vanilla bucket, with the tempting promise of eventually being able to *craft* Creative energy cells, tanks, etc.? Expert mode may be for you.

Otherwise, all the same mods in their more regular form, with some pre-existing builds courtesy of the players from a pony-RP MUSH I play with.
