Hey everyone! The name's Kat. I recently discovered BC Furries from a new friend~!
I'm actually quite surprised I didn't know about the forums. I tried to find something like it once. I was coming up with so many awesome (and some really dumb and cliche) combinations of names that it could but I never thought of BC Furries, which is quite lame of me.

Anyways, I'm from the Lower Mainland, as stated in the title, near Coquitlam. I never thought I'd find any furries near me. I was wrong, judging from looking around the forums. I only know one furry in real life, whom lives in Richmond. Therefor I didn't expect much.

I can't wait to talk to more of you furries from all over BC and to meet some of y'all at meets!

I work in Poco, kinda close to Coquitlam Center. The area is actually pretty great, I think. Some awesome restaurants around. I think it's actually a pretty common area for people on this board. Common-ish.

I've known the exact feeling you are talking about. In fact, I thought there might be one or two furries in lower BC, and finding this place upon luck, I discovered an event with 10+ furries that was being held on the very same block I lived on!! (I live in Burquitlam :))

It is nice to see another furry a bit closer to the tri-cities too.

there are furries everywhere. some know it, some don't. some show it, some hide it. but we are everywhere.

Well to be fair I'm only in Pitt because of how fuckin' cheap the nice apartments are, and how close I am to work. >_> Would not normally have chosen here. xD
