how do i change .wps to .doc

i have a file on microsoft works word processor and need to change it to a .doc so that someone else can read it.  what do i do?  i am not very computer literate so make instructions as simple as possible.

I've come over and had helped out, copying contents was a fairly straightforward over finding a converter.
