Goto Bing. I've found Bing searches're more broader then Google.

Search random word. We need the post search screen.
Below search bar is "Narrow by Language\/", Click, then select "More"
In the blue box select "Limit my searches to pages written in the following languages:"
Immediately below select all languages except English.
Save.
Enjoy.

Most times spaces not required in modified search.

And how, exactly, is this going to give you "good" websites?

I've used a multitude of search engines, and I've migrated to Startpage because I've been paranoid over companies' analytics for a while.  Google does exactly that as well, and has more search options.  Startpage is enhanced by Google while providing security.

"Good" websites means what?  Browsing the web to find interesting content?

Use Stumbleupon to find good websites. You teach it to show you what kind of stuff you want, and it'll send you to websites that it thinks you'd be interested in.
