Ditto, I find sculpting way more gratifying. The image from my mind translates better into reality than it does in 2D. I'd recommend dropping the $20 on a pound of Super Sculpey and playing with it.(Make sure you look up how to make proper armatures, I suck at this part.) Or even just $5 on some regular clay and seeing what you can make.
Though it is discouraging when it dries wrong and cracks up like my last one. Hence why I recommend Sculpey.
man I tried sculpting clay not long ago, I managed to deal with the cracks (it was a fairly big thing so smoothing them over was easy even after it dried) but I still had that same frustration that I get with drawing xD funny how many people responded saying they feel the same thing as carl though! guess this is a widespread problem :-\

Actually, sometime I want to do some Bob Ross-style oil paintings.

Haha, maaan! That guy puts me to sleep! If I watch a video of him I just start nodding off...

And that clay idea may be interesting, I might actually try that out. :3 I've been wanting to try and make a clay furry head. Like so:

Although you'll have to use a proxy to watch the video (at least I do) which I don't know why. The first time I watched it perfectly fine...

I am happy that I get to use "Well played sir, well played"  today.
"God does not play dice with the universe; He plays an ineffable game of his own devising, which might be compared, from the perspective of any of the other players, to being involved in an obscure and complex version of poker in a pitch dark room, with blank cards, for infinite stakes, with a dealer who won't tell you the rules, and who smiles all the time."   - Terry Pratchett

My new haircut is amazing! I don't know what I was ever thinking keeping it long like that, I look so much better with my hair like this! and the old cut was driving me crazy 12345

Despite a very poor work day today (I serviced just one lawn, and it was pre-booked), the managers I spoke with all expressed an interest in helping me get over the problems I've been having.
(that was my second day. Contrast that with my first day, with three lawns, none of which were pre-booked)
One of the other managers has said that he wants to have me under him a time or two to see what he could suggest.
The clerk who paid me for my work even waived the regular equipment rental fee because it would have cut my pay in half.

If I could only get over my problems relating to people I don't know, I might actually be good at this! =>.<=
(my skills with the aerator equipment are fine, and getting better, but if I can't make a sale, it doesn't matter how skilled I am)

On March 2nd, my big cat jumped out of my sisters window and ran away. He wouldn't come home and then I had to go to the hospital and couldn't call for him every night.

I put up a "lost cat" thing on Craigslist and asked the local petfinders FB page to put up his picture. Still, I had no responses for two weeks.

I just looked out the window, and he came walking out from the bushes!! I had to double check to see it wasn't the downstairs cat, but it was my boy! He sat just in view of my window and looked at me.

I jumped right up and threw some clothes over my jammies and ran outside. I called him from the side door, but he didn't come. I had to jam something in the door so it wouldn't lock behind me (as it is one without a keyhole on the outside) and went around the corner. I called again and he came running so fast, meowing like CRAZY! I scooped him up and cuddled him all the way back to the apartment. He seems to have lost some weight, but is otherwise okay.

The other cats are all growly now, even Dove, but they will get used to him.

Two weeks ago, my first rattie, Squee, broke her little 'finger' on the cage somehow.  Just learned that she won't lose the digit because she is healing well, she is no longer in any pain, and will still have good use of her paw even with the slightly bent little finger!  I'm so pleased, I was worried about her!

I have a better mind and life now.
