Any good Sewing Resources?

So I've been playing around with trying to maybe pick up sewing for suit repair, or construction or other fun little designs here or there, but before I rush out and buy a book, or take a course (which I have trouble finding any), does anyone know any good resources, suggestions, or books where I can start off?
