Sewing with fur!

So I'm a relatively experienced seamstress, but I'm trying to make fuzzy arm warmers and sewing something that formfitting without stretch is proving to be very challenging (just testing it out on non-stretch fabric right now). Any advice?

You could always try weaving elastic fabric into the backing. It gives the fur more stretch. C:
Johnny was a chemist's son but Johnny is no more
what Johnny thought was H2O was H2SO4
Jimmy was a chemist's son but drank some HCl
he thought it was H2O and now he burns in hell
