Sewing with fur!

So I'm a relatively experienced seamstress, but I'm trying to make fuzzy arm warmers and sewing something that formfitting without stretch is proving to be very challenging (just testing it out on non-stretch fabric right now). Any advice?

You could always try weaving elastic fabric into the backing. It gives the fur more stretch. C:
