i hear you on this. Nothing's changed except the weather and all the usually simple things are more difficult. Fall is beautiful and Halloween is one of my favorites, but i am not excited for winter. Nop nope. I am not.

I'd actually be fine with winter if it weren't for the days getting shorter. I'm not a happy camper when it's pitch-black at 5 PM.

my complaint is that my two god daughters haven't learned to get along during their "time" of the month.  any ideas to get them to be good to each other?

are they twins? I grew up with twin step sisters the same age as myself... to say it was tough is an underrstatement. I'm not too. Sure what to say. Siblings fight. *shrug*

Yup extreme negative reinforcement. Anytime one of them is caught being mean to the other, remove a privilege. TV, Internet, Phones. Whatever they care about you take away. You can choose how long it should be for. If that doesn't work escalate, start throwing things they love out. Guaranteed they will quickly either stop misbehaving or get good enough at hiding it that its no longer a problem for you.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. I suppose though that you never know just how much you might have in common with someone until you ask them what they think about a wide range of things. Of course that requires that you reach out to people which starts that whole paranoid spiral <.<

Cyclists who assume that they can just turn front of an on-coming car and then get pissed off when they almost get clipped. Seriously, how many fucking brain cells does it take to LOOK where the fuck you are going? Hand signals do not just magically get rid of on-coming vehicles, especially when you are right BESIDE the fucking vehicle when you do it and don't bother to look over your shoulder.

Fucking hippies, the jackoff wasn't even wearing a helmet to begin with.

Okay, this is bad. My laptop won't boot right now. It seems the MBR (Master Boot Record for those not in the know) is at the point of failure and won't finish loading the boot system.

I'll try to have a crack at fixing it tomorrow, but not having it right now is rather unhelpful.
(I guess I didn't realize just how useful it is to have two independent computers)
