Who would like to join a BCF chatroom? (poor-man's chatroom idea)

I don't think we have one and I'm not sure if I can make one on mIRC or whatever and make a board with clear concise instructions for people to reach it buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, what we could do is create a skype group chat where we can have that sort of thing going on mmn?

It's about time BC Furries has a chat for real...though I was wondering if it'd be better to create one that is both Mac and Windows friendly.

I'm sure we could look in to an IRC channel too, and have a mibbit link for people who don't want to bother with their own client :V

I much prefer IRC to Skype myself.

Riiiiight, yeah now I remember, yes we do have an IRC, but like Acco said, it's unactive, I've never encountered anyone on there when I checked.

This is probably because A) People haven't heard about it, or B) People don't know how to get to it.

So we have a couple things we can do to rectify this if everyone is onboard to have a chat group. We could create a Chat Tech board that would for one make it clear this exists and how we can get to it through a variety of means (mIRC, Chatzilla, what have you), or we could also go for the Skype group since it's easier to access, despite being inferior, and we could just keep that running 24/7 (although someone would have to tell me how to turn on notifications for that particular group because otherwise it would drive me crazy).

Thoughts? I already set up a group on Skype if any of you want to join just let me know.

lol. Mibbit apparently isn't a registered client for furnet and it bans you on connect attempt.  So there goes an easy way to connect. 8U

Skype is simple enough. If you can't use Skype and accept an invite you won't be able to use any other multi-user chat at all.

Although really, this didn't get technical at all, these are all pretty straight-forward and viable options.
