There isn't much more feed back to give. Gain more experience by making ears, tails, gloves, and feet. Don't just sit around waiting for someone to order. Show off the stuff you make whether it be at a con or festival or whatever. People don't know you exist so you have to show them that you do. Also by the look of it your friend had only one fursuit under her belt which isn't much experience compared to people that have been doing it for years, but do remember they started exactly where you did.

alot of fursuit commission advertisement comes from the fursuits that are out & about, free advertisement XD like ravewoif says get out there and show people what you can do.
