I'm just trying to dream up and idea for how I'm going top make a fursuit and I've figured out how to do the fur, but since I'm making a dragon-wolf hybrid I need a way to make scales. Big scales are way to do, but I need small fine scales face and hands. I've never seen a scalie fursuit, yes I realize the contradiction. I've considered latex, but I want the scales to be shiny. So if anyone knows of a technique or of someone with a scalie fursuit please help me out

I would think a shiny lycra, maybe with a snakeskin pattern? Or a plain colour (silver or gold?) with the scale shapes embroidered or something similar. Lycra has the added bonus of being stretchy, too.
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, either way you're right.

Hmm that is a good idea, but I would have to figure out a way to incorporate it into the suit because the gloves I've already started on and they are like a medieval gauntlet style, but I guess I can make it blend into the lycra as it would be much easier to use than to make individual scales.
