How do you feel about real fur?

I'm not looking for unnecessary drama, but what are your views on real fur?
I've always been told to never look a life behind a window to go outside and join the world, but what about the world behind that window makes the outside so much better?

Kitten

I am ok with real fur as long as it a) died of natural causes b) road kill or c) was killed by accident(not hunted or sought out to be killed)

other then that I think that real fur can look quite nice, I just don't really want any myself.

I'd rather die on paws than live on feet.

I am fine so long as it wasn't like... animals bred and raised to be skinned. Furs as a result of hunting? Sure, so long as you eat the animal you killed.

I probably wouldn't wear real fur unless it was something I hunted/processed though.

Fuzzum

umm dont know never acualy thought about it realy tell now. umm no i think
No wait i totaly do!

J.R.Bear

I won't wear it. The reason being that (almost) every fur coat out there is made from fur that comes from what most people would consider to be less then reputable sources. That being said, if I were to hunt an animal and could make use of the pelt, I would.

Tef

In terms of hunting for furs, I'm fine for hunting for survival, not hunting for sport - that I shall have to object.

Agreed. You gotta eat what you kill.

Xen Garden

I like real fur. Don't really care how the animal died. Would rather not think about it, personally. Be it accident, or on purpose, and if it was on purpose, what those purposes were, and how they handled it. Don't want to hear about it.

Tyins Darkwulf

I don't really mind either way. I wouldn't really wear fur (fake or real) anyway in normal day to day 'fashion.'

kohl

Being able to feel the fur of live wild animals would be nice. I'd like a sweater knitted from bear fur, I think it'd feel really cozy.

I got an idea to make a real fur tail but don't need a whole sheep skin, if anyone's got some scraps I'd consider trading for it.

I will eventually make a suit with sheep pieces but that won't be for awhile.

Wow I honestly thought for some reason furries would be more against it than peta

That's probably because of your statement "I'm not looking for unnecessary drama" *poke*so we decided to keep it civilized.

Wearing real fur as clothing can be a challenge, sure looks nice, but most people would have their doubts and thoughts. I't rather have real for as an ornament such as a bed cover or pillow cover on a couch. You get to appreciate it.

Interesting statement Wrath, it is true you prefer not to know the animal's life. A similar though crosses my mind when eating meat every now and then. Though after seeing several videos on animal cruelty how cows, chicken and pigs are being processed and handled, I keep eating meat (maybe a little less). And some of those videos have made me throw up.

I didn't mean I expected people to flip out, but

was not something I was expecting to read.
Oh god don't remind me of those videos. I can't imagine what kind of a sick fuck  would work there and do that as a daily job.
