Wow, I like the colours on your lemur and the playful expression it has, especially the eyes!  How do you add shadow to your character in SAI?  Do you create a separate layer and merge it with the main one?  And do you also go over the outline of the character in a thicker weighted line in a separate linework layer as well?  I'm still learning the ropes so any advice would be much appreciated.  :)
