Wanted: Mens white dress slacks

I'm going on a cruise this spring, and the ship I'm taking half of the dining rooms maintain a semiformal or formal dress code. All the dress pants I own presently are black. This is a mexican cruise. Black fabric absorbs a great deal of heat.  :o

I've looked everywhere around my local mall and the closest thing I can find is khaki. I'm hoping some of you guys will know where I can find white pants - at this point I'm will to commute downtown for a pair.  :(

Tried the one in Langley, found nothing. So far all I've found is one pair of white jeans at the Winners in Morgan Crossing, but they were far too big.  ???

I would suggest taking a look at any second hand store that carries used clothing.

Also, if you find a pair of white dress pants for a decent price, don't be discouraged if they are too big. If the problem is in the waist and/or hips, it is a really easy thing to take them in, and even if you don't know someone who can do that for you, a tailer will usually do that kind of job for a reasonable price.

Yep. At my shop we charge $19.99 to take in the waist and seat. Sometimes we take in the thighs too and that is a little more, but not much. And the prices are sometimes cheaper on the mainland since there is so much competition between shops there.

My boyfriend bought a white suit from Le Chateau.     They do sell the pants separate.   

Any place that you could find a white suit at you can find white pants.

Murrf, that is a little above my budget, but I may not be able to find anything cheaper. I'll check out Le Chateau.  :P

Sadly Le Chateau presently has no white dress slacks. Some branches may have them leftover from last spring, but it's a pretty big 'may.' Store that cater to that demographic don't tend to hang on to their stock that long. Most of what's available there right now is the last of their winter lineup, a lot of wools in dark colours. In a couple months they'll be releasing their spring lines, but I need these pants before March.  :(

Besides buying in season is super expensive. I shouldn't really be paying upwards of $80 for a pair of trousers on my wage, it's unethical. I 'Should' be saving for school.  :o

Anyways, I'm still on the hunt and open to suggestions!

I'm going to check out the Le Chateau in Morgan Crossing anyways, but I don't have high hopes. Wish me luck!

Might try some thrift stores and even if its a close fit you can have them taken in or let out a little bit and that is usually inexpensive.

I should have written this sooner: I FOUND THEM!!!

At American Eagle, $60 some odd dollars after tax. They're denim but it was all I could find, I honestly looked everywhere.

BUT I FOUND THEM NOW!!! >w<
