Water is nothing! Once I spilled half a glass of grape juice into my favorite wireless keyboard. I took it apart and cleaned every part of it with a soft cloth and then let it dry and it worked again. :)

I've had bad luck with keyboards. I went through 4 in 2 months due to spills and whatnot. And my house is far too disastrous to try taking them apart and drying them out manually. Not just water either. Milk, juice, cola. usually between full and half full... and not 8 oz glasses, but the 16 oz ones. I've had terrible luck with keyboards.

On that note, this one isnt actually sure if it wants to work or not. It goes all wonky for a few minutes, but then gets better with use. hoping it stops with the wonky.

Since it was just water, it should be ok. When it is sticky then it is a big problem.

I was just thinking...

I really love it when you read something that really stirs something deep inside you.  The written word is amazing.  I think its definitely one thing to be really thankful for as a human being, complex emotional responses to the world around us and the ability to articulately communicate them to others.  It's brilliant that I can read something written even hundreds of years back and find the core of it still relevant, connecting to someone who has long since seen his last days on this planet.  its kinda crazy O.o

I just used warm water (and a teeny bit of dish soap) and a soft cloth and some paper towels. It took about 24 hours to let it dry completely.

yeah, try leaving small piece out to dry in a house occupied by small children. See if you can find the pieces after 24 hours. :p I'm still missing parts of my vacuum cleaner, lol

I can now have that glass of tequila Viv suggested earlier. Though I'll skip the tequila and opt instead for a finger of gin in a cold glass of Peardrax, gently adulterated with a bit of raspberry bar mix. <3

Got my RV back from the shop, not only does it fire up as if it was a brand new vehicle but I also got a discount on the labor since I work with a dealership myself and am classified as a preferred customer. My boss even let me borrow their universal demo plates so I could move it back and fourth without having to get pricey day permits! ^.=.^
