This actually sounds pretty fun ^.=.^

Lol when I saw the title of this tread all I could think was "That sounds like what they would the call Dora The Explorer series when she came to America and started exploring the ghettos" lol

Renwaldo

lol That's all you could think of?! XD

I can only imagine just how hilarious this would be. Congrats on making my day. xD

friends help you move, real friends help you move bodies...

This sounds like tons of fun.  If say, someone were to set a date and location for this activity, would they post it in this forum?
PS, this is what part of the alphabet would like if Q and R were eliminated.

Renwaldo

Yeah come on lets organize and do this thing!  :D

Riot Da Woof!

Honestly didn't expect so many people to be on board!

but please, PLEASE listen to the following!

This is for all intents and purposes trespassing. Urbexing is not something to be taken lightly
Research is needed, information needs to be gathered.
someone will probably need to know how to pick locks.
the group may have to be able to jump fences; is everyone capable of doing that?
think of pre-designated bug-out points.
What if someone gets hurt, does everyone know how to deal with anything from a rusty metal scrape to a possible broken bone?

You also need to think of your company you keep.
do you trust the person next to you will keep there cool should unwanted company be close?
Realize that going in groups of  more then two-to-four great increase the risk of being caught or mistakes being made.

YOU must be able to judge your own skill.

you need to realize that things go pear-shaped. You must be able to cope with the fact that what your doing has consequences should you get caught.

Now after I've finished probably scarring half of you off, if your STILL intrested I'll do a bit of reading and get in touch of some local urbex'ers and get some information :3

Renwaldo

Sure, I'm still up for it. I'm not sure if any you really want me tagging along given that I've never done this before, but I still really want to do it! I can follow orders. I'll keep my mouth shut. >w<

This sounds like fun.

Icey Dominus

Still in it. . . .is it okay if I just go threw the fence? lol

Still interested, the danger just makes me more intrigued.

I've always had an itch to explore like this, urban or not - however, I'm more the type to do this alone or in a small,  capable group...Soki's list of precautions to take is roughly the same as what I had in mind, and I really don't consider myself prepared.

Icey Dominus

I have a feeling I will be left behind on this one being that I am of that larger verity and all. Oh well it was a nice idea
