I picked mine up on the 11th from Best Buy and got a t-shirt. They probably don't have anymore but it could be worth a look.

According to the reviews I've read it seems like the game was ported to PC this time rather than the other way around, as apparently half of the menus didn't even work properly with a mouse and such.

I can't say much about the game though as I haven't bought it yet myself, though I plan to buy it from Steam when funds permit, and hopefully any bugs will be fixed by the time I get it.

Check out the other thread, tons more details: http://www.bcfurries.com/forum/index.php?topic=4269.0

Also, Skyrim is the best TES game to date. There are menu bugs because it is console optimized, but it isn't that bad. The game itself is very good.

A bit of an old forum for the game, But one of the best games ever made

Skyrim is wayyyyyy overhyped imo. The graphics may be gee willy shiny and the world may be big, BUT it lacks the most important part: FUN.

Why don't you find it fun?

I used to think it was fun. Then I took an arrow in the knee. :P

Simple: Like most RPGs it is all a chore. Combat is clunky and boring, too much boring wandering about, and while the graphics are fancy, everything looks the same. I have been playing Reckoning, and it is fairly similar, but everything has a unique look and the combat is fast and fluid.
