I got my computer back, finally! I had to go pick it up from the UPS warehouse 'cause with being in an apartment and all the guy could never make it inside to drop it off xD;;

But
They did not save /all/ the files I asked them too. ): So I lost all my recent art including a huuuge pic I was doing. It had a really nice background that I was actually proud of, I kinda drew my brother into the pic as well, idk I just loved it and it was ALMOST finished. and now it's goooone. :( :(

And they did not save my tablet drivers like I asked them too. I asked because I no longer have the discs for it, nor do I have the disc to properly install my little bluetooth thingie.... So I don't know if the bluetooth is just not working properly now or if it's because it's not installed but it's not detecting that my tablet is even there. So IDK what to do, there....
I don't even have a mouse LOL D: so what I've done so far I've just had to navigate with the keyboard. aaaaah

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU just about sums it up.

Um but on the upside I -think- the wireless may be working now? Idk hopefully it'll all be going smoothly now.

I really don't know how to get my bluetooth insert to respond or pick up on my tablet. u_u
I do not want to use this laptop anymooooooore!

What was a routine graphics driver update turned into utter chaos and disappointment.

Something went wrong during the update causing Windows to crash, and rendered it impossible to boot. Tried fixing the broken device driver to no success so now I get to re-install Windows again - such a pain ;-;

Thankfully only the OS and some small programs were on this SSD (which I backed up afterwards anyways), but I still have to re-install just about everything :/

just once, i would like to have a decent discussion with some one about religion without them getting offended at my different view point. Especially if they're the ones who brought it up. FYI, just because you didn't know that your religious group was responsible for something way back when, DOESN'T MEAN it didn't happen. More specifically, just because you didn't know that wicca = witch craft, and it was the Christians who started the witch hunts and saying that witches were devil worshippers, causing that belief to still be followed today (in a mainly Christian-founded country), DOESN'T MEAN it never happened. Just because you're too lazy, or ignorant, to look into the history of your own religion and it's impact on cultures around the world, doesn't mean there wasnt one. And lastly, when i end a damn paragraph with a :P, there's usually a little bit of sarcasm in the statement I made, just like, oh, I dunno, 99% of the freakin internet.

just to re-cap; Christians have a reputation of being pushy, and trying to push their religion on to other people, whether they want it or not. Just because a person, as a Christian, does not know the history of Christianity, and how they converted all the druids, or else murdered them, doesn't mean it didn't happen. And just because a person DOES know these things, and disagrees with them, does not mean the person is not a Christian him or herself. Nor does it mean that they blame/hate modern Christians.

The main problem is you talking to modern day "religious" types about anything (insert troll face here) But to be honest, most of today's Christians are those born-again ones who simply run around shoving it in everyone's faces, they are like the ADD suffering furry herms of the real world that way. Just not happy unless everyone the meet agrees with them and pats them on the back about how "right" they are.

She's all like "not all christians are pushy, and it sucks that everyone thinks they are, but you know, they have a good reason to be pushy." to which i replied "thats like saying a racist has a good reason to be racist." she didn't get it.

in other complainty news, I seem to have woken up in a bad mood. 80% of the things I read are pissing me off/making me think people are stupid (or maybe they really are and it has nothing to do with my mood...) Which means it's going to be a long day. :/

I may get glared at by a member of the community for saying this, but to my experience, EmoFox, anyone actually seriously practicing any Abrahamic faith is treading a fine line between hypocrisy and madness. In unrelated news, a complaint from the weasel!

My last contract job is being incredibly slow on paying me out. I'm done working for them, I've turned in my work, so wai no pay, bawse? The 15th came and went.

I'm waiting on my roommates to pay me their part of the utility bills. I always have the amount that they owe written on the whiteboard around the 7th of the month and ask them to have it to me by the 15th. The cable is due on the 8th, so I just pay it all at that time out of my own pocket, while the gas/hydro need to be paid on the 20th. I figure it is less headache if I just ask them for the money for all the bills at the same time.

Why are they always late? Usually the excuse is "I don't get paid until *date*!" ... let's use this month as an example... if you get paid on the 4th and the 18th and know for a fact that I want the money on the 15th... wouldn't you save some money from the 4ths paycheque? You'd know roughly what to set aside, since hydro is every other month and makes the bills higher. In the summer/fall the hydro months are around $65 and the non-hydro months are about $25.

WHY AM I STILL WAITING?!?!?!?!?!?! I am not sure when the guy roommates payday is/was, but the girl just had hers on the 18th. Did she give me money? No. Did she buy a bus ticket to go do something in Victoria? Yes.

FFFFFFFFF- I've had to pay cable and gas out of my own pocket (plus the $19 that the guys downstairs had to chip in and are never late with). It isn't a terribly big deal on non-hydro months such as this... but when they pull it on the more expensive months, I can't handle it even more. Especially in winter, 'cause gas is $200 and hydro is $256. Cable is almost over with its introductory cheap price, so it is going up to $90.

Sometimes I hate being the responsible one.

When religion stops trying to legislate itself through civil law into ruling my life and decisions, whether or not I believe, I'll get along with it. Until then, it can sod off back to the Bronze Age.

And now another complaint! Electrical breakers that are older than I am that won't reset, suck! Especially when I'm trying to finish off the end-of-day auditing package. Grr.
