I have a very strongly made metal spreader bar and chains for sale.

It is strong enough for over 300lbs for suspension play if installed properly(studs).
It is powder coated silver color. So good luck trying to mark it up
Can be used for multiple positions for bondage.

You know you picked the right fandom when difficulties with installing a spreader bar override the fact that it's going in the living-room. Heh. If I had space for it in the bedroom, Velvet, I'd install it there, but I have a loft in place already, alas.

Believe it or not, concrete is easier in my opinion since you don't have to search for the stud/beam/joist behind the drywall of the room , all you need is a hammer drill and concrete bolts, lol

It's not the lack of tools that's a problem, Tor, just that neither the strata council nor my landlord would approve all that terribly of me drilling holes in the concrete. On the other hand, I *do* live with a naughty otter who can readily run a design through Solidworks and then fabricate the result. I could fairly readily weld up a steel frame... and when that's the simple solution to naughty funtimes, maybe there's a madboy at play.  ;D

it also works for many bondage positions that dont require any installation.

you know, if it weren't for having mundane's over constantly, i've always wanted something anchored into the ceiling studs that i could hold onto for a little extra OOMPH in the cowgirl position.... maybe i could hang one of those mosquito nets from it to make it look innocent lol

the bar is intimidating to look at by mundanes. I have had many friends over who look at it and gulp. even though i have been using it as a place to hang dry clothes. LOL

OOOOOO imagine a bed frame discreet enough to look like it's just a canopy frame, but sturdy enough to bring out the hardware in the evening, and have one or both of you practically swinging from it  :O
