So.... :/ ive been in quite a bad mood for the past day or so.. kinda depressed-ish aswell. Which hasnt happened for quite sometime.. and idk what to do :/ ive gone for walks, which usually calm me down.. doesnt work, and ive tried playing videogames which usually works aswell... but it didnt help.... :( I honestly cant think of much else atm.

Any advice?

go to the doctor and get lots and lots of happy pills. Everyones doing it these days XD

seriously though, find whats causing your depression and change something? go and meet with friends,,have some fun, do something you don't usually do. Idk it's different for everyone. I get depressed sometimes, but it usually only lasts a few days.  I hope you feel better soon :)

COME TO HOWL.
COME TO GIZMO'S POT-LUCK.

Seriously... I felt stuck in a rut for the longest time and I forced myself (with some outside encouragement) to go and meet some new people and it was quite rewarding.  I've been in a perpetually good mood ever since.  Honestly, come hang out at as many events as you can and get to know the group here.  The people on this forum are awesome, but they're even cooler in person.  Even if you make just one new friend, it can totally jack up your mood for a long time.

I was planning on coming to Howloween and bringing a friend so that i wouldnt be awkwardly standing in a corner for the first little while x3 but it seems my ride has cancelled, if my friend cant get us a ride i wont be able to go D:

while I'm personally not going (dont have the funds) I would be willing to give a ride to a fur in need, :3 socializing is a great way to get out of a rut.
Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, either way you're right.

Have overzealous sex. That's what I do.

Not everyone has that opportunity, I'm afraid. =\

I find it kind of a difficult task to 'deal with' either stress, depression, ect.  I want to think Im a happy go lucky guy who has on occasion been hit with short, or even extended periods of depression or aggrivation.

I don't think I'm unstable.. we just all feel emotions somtimes, but I think the important thing is to find what may be causing those issues.  Usually either we look back at things we feel sad for, or things that could be causing some stress in our life.  Work, relationships, ect.

I think trying to address these issues head on is one of the best things you can do, otherwise you're just trying to drown out or mask them.  Sad your life isn't going anywhere?  Maybe look up some stuff or do something to work towards something new or different.  Having stress with someone else?  Maybe talk it out with them.

I know even sometimes little things like cleaning up around the house, laundry, or just getting your living space in order can help ease your mind a lot.  Having a nice clean room/apartment helps a lot.

As a clinically deperessed person, the advice I can offer is:

-See your doctor, especially if you have signs like not enjoying hobbies you usually would or sleep issues.

-Hang out with your friends and/or meet new people (in real life...that's been my problem a lot; I meet all these awesome people online and they live on the other hemisphere)

-If you're not a fan of pharmaceuticals but the moods are really bad, I suggest trying St. John's Wort. Probably want to tell the doctor you're taking it, though; it's not reccomended for use alongside antidepressants or certain other meds. It's available over the counter - bit pricey, but worth it if it works. Like any substance, I suggest not just taking one person's word for it - talk to people that use it and do your research.

-Try something new - a new hobby, listen to bands you didn't know about, read or watch a genre of fiction you don't see much of, etc

I find that sometimes instead of going for a walk, going out for a run or some form of exercise instead helps. It may be the last thing that you would feel like doing, but for some reason afterwards, the adrenaline kinda just kickstarts everything. It also helps to get your mind off things...
