Dx I hate dreams they are always creepy, nightmares, me getting trapped somewhere or something weird

I've had one good dream in several years *glares at dreams*
My last ones were about me getting stuck in an abandoned building, a car crash and me losing my eyes

I had it before! And, I totally know what you mean by scary! I try not to panic, but it's hard when there seems to be weird voices mumbling in your ear and the fact that you can't move your body at all....  :(

Yeah I know >w<

...didn't really realize this but I have a lot of dreams that are school related, why is that?

That definitely makes sense if you're still in school, its where you spend alot of your time and where alot of things in your teenage life happen, hell even I still have nightmares about my mandarin class  :'(

My latest dream reflected the time I had to wait for my elevator to arrive to take me from my apartment in my dorm to the ground floor.
I had this dream in which I was in an elevator which is taking a helluva long time to go down that I might as well mistaken it for being broken. The doors were closed and all that but I was more annoyed and pissed off in my dream than scared that I'm going to be locked inside the steel cage for eternity.

Now I wonder why I wasn't scared.

Well...I just graduated from high school, and I'm not in Uni or College, but your right about one thing. School was one of the large chunks of any persons life, and the memories will stay with us forever, even in our dreams. Oh sorry to hear about those mandarin classes, must've been harsh.

Yes.
Either last night or the night before, even. And I have experienced it, to various extents, many times in the past few years.
Really, I have a sort of love-hate relationship with it. On one hand, it's absolutely terrifying when and after it happens, but on the other hand I  <3  any and all of the weird offshoots of parasomnia. It's so interesting!

Now, the real question is, does anyone here have Exploding Head Syndrome? (Because I totally do, maybe).
reality is subject to relativity.

Has anyone ever experience a falling sensation and then your body jerks like it hit the floor? That's so annoying too.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypnic_jerk

Yes! I usually get that when Im starting to doze off. The odd time I'll actually dream of myself falling but most of the time Im not dreaming of anything, I just get this weird sensation that Im falling and then I jerk myself awake and almost kick something over lol.

I've got a furry dream. I was on a bus with a bunch of perceived friends in fursuits (and I'm like the only one without one lol) and we arrived at this shopping mall/convention place. We were walking together and I was overly ecstatic for some reason and sprinted ahead of the group. When I looked back, they were all gone.

I woke up feeling annoyed and a bit sad.

I had a weird All Dogs go to Heaven/Oblivion cross over type of dream a couple of nights ago. All I can remember is Anne Marie jumping down some well looking for Charlie but ends up landing in some lava, but she somehow manages to jump onto some rocks unhurt. Then on some platform type thing, Charlie is looking for Anne Marie, and which that point I woke going 'wtf?'

My favorite dreams, however, are those that involve my characters in whatever story I happen to be writing at the time. There's been times where I'll dream up whatever scene I'm about to get to, or one that I just written.

FURRY DREAM!!!!

This dream is simple....a lot of fursuiters wondering around in Whistler village, some were skiing (or boarding), some were dining, and partying. Which my dream ended with a large house party in a mansion...what an awesome dream  :-3

The other night I dreamt about eating ham. Just walking up to a container of sliced sandwich ham and mowing on it. It was damn tasty too.

It's odd, I know that the dream was long, involved, and that the ham was only a tiny portion of it, but that bit is the only part I remember. XD

Sometimes I have dreams about Disney fur characters; you know the ones roaming around theme parks.  It's usually Robin Hood or Kenai, and they always follow the same pattern: I end up finding the characters somewhere (on the street, in Bear Creek Park, right outside my house) and I try to meet them, but I never can get to do it.  Something always gets in the way: maybe I run off to get my camera or just then I wake up.  I used to have these dreams about other characters, but they stopped happening once I actually went to Walt Disney World and met them.  I think these two chaarcters pop up consistantly because I never did get to meet them despire my best efforts and fondest wishes to do so, and they will probably still fall into those reoccurring untouchable nocturnal roles until I can do so in reality.

Sometimes after a furry event I have dreamt that the event continues long after it had actually ended.  After the first ElektroFuzz, I dreamt that we all went back to the dance building after it was over and kept going until 3AM when we were kicked out of the building, and then for some reason decided to go up on the roof of my old grade school and partied there.  Another time I dreamt that after bowling we all went out to a coffee shop and sat there watching somebody play guitar on the stage.  I think these dreams happen because I normally enjoy the local furry events so much that I do not want to see them end.

Last night I dreamt that I went to a furcon...in Hawaii.  Despite the expected heat, everyone chose to walk from the hotel to the convention site in suit, although I did not recognize any of the suiters.  Things did not go well however as there was a running knife fight on the convention floor and we were all held hostage by a terrorists.
