OK so ive been wanting to go to a gay bar for a long time now but theres just that thought in my head....

Will i get hit on if i sit at the bar alone?

I know there are tons of bars and clubs on davie street, and i know if i say, im taken ill be left alone, but i just wana know, what places would i moreliky get hit on and what places will i not get hit on, or do I even have to worry about all this.

You should go and enjoy being hit on but definitely say you're taken. Go to Celebrities where everyone will be Asian and smaller than you if you want a good place to start.
If you're going alone only drink things you see opened in front of you. But if you're not going to pick someone up it's a lot more fun going with friends anyways :)

I have tried, but no one seems interested, even been offered free passes to celebs', but meh. Been there a few times in a fur suit, but one day had to go with out spotter, no problems. Had run into another furry from our community, had the law laid down, no going without a spotter, so haven't been since.

Oh yeah, I remember that. Well politically it wouldn't be good for 'bc furries' to have an official furry event at a gay bar.
However I'm sure there's nothing wrong with a small group of us going some time. Unofficially. Not as furries but merely a small group of guys. :gay:

Gay bars are no different than any other bars; I been to my first gay bar in Davie,at pumpjack and it was disgusting lot of drunk people, doing stupid things trying to look for a one night stand...
It was sorta fun though I was with my boyfriend having 2 pitches and almost got kicked outta pumpjack because me and my boyfriend got angry at these guys who where hogging the pool table, so we started throwing peanuts at them and calling them down, talking loudly and insulting them and stealing all the candles there making our table look like the occult table then drawing a huge pentagram on the wall.

I think the only disgusting thing i found about it were guys coming in flaunting themselves off trying to be sexy and girly as possible just for a one night stand :-X

Haha yeah I was with ya J, that was some funny stuff eh. welcome to the vancouver gay community! Why just a gay club? Places are soo unisex and open now you can just go to pendor and go to MSH Sessions or hit up a trance club there also, why a gay club? I've been to them all..It is just guys wanting to hook up..believe me. Intoxicated or not, your gonna get hit on..its vancouver..men are up front about what they want.

All the gay bars I've been to were just regular bars with gay guys in it. *shrug* Drinks are served, games are watched on TV, food is eaten, and the occasional dude will start letting his eyes stick to you. I don't know what the ones are like in Vancouver; all the ones I've been to were in the USA. o.=.O
