Note: I did check the entire Forum help board before posting this...by the titles.

So, on topic - I'm running BC Furries on Firefox 6.0 on a Mac 10.5.8. The other day, I wanted to upload a picture of my fursona to my profile.
Profile -> My Pictures -> Add Pictures.
So, I filled out name, description, and all that jazz, and I decide to upload a photo straight from my laptop. All seems green until I hit save.
At that particular moment, Firefox downloaded some sort of script under the name "index.php" straight from the forum. What's this for? I decided to go back to my profile to check if the pic is uploaded, but apparently it didn't.

Please help me with this issue. I'll greatly appreciate it.

The issue is that Firefox is now as a browser in 4th place for speed and page loading, and cannot be fixed by anyone else but Firefox themselves :)

It's possible that the .php file in your cache is corrupt, which means whenever your browser tries to load index.php it keeps pulling the corrupt file and downloading it because it can't run it.

Try clearing your cache, and closing off every instance of your browser, then try again.

Re: Firefox Issue: Just cleared the cache. No luck.
Update: Tried it on Safari too. Different problem = Server timeout.
Google Chrome: Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.
Thanks for the help anyway. I guess this issue would just be a minor inconvenience in the long run.

It might be a DNS issue on your side after see you're getting timed out.

This is difficult for me to diagnose as I don't own a Mac - can you try disabling your virus scanner or any ad blockers, etc. and give it another shot?

Just to let you guys know, my laptop got a heart attack yesterday, causing me to reinstall everything and retrieve stuff from my EHD. Nevertheless, it didn't solve the problem.
