Dislike the "Forum Games" section?

I imagine this is more of a feature request for the people who wrote SMF, but it'd be awesome if you could just set certain forums that you don't care about to "ignore" or "automatically mark as read" and have them not show the new messages icon or show up in your most recent posts.

Will it stop nine pages of spam showing up in the recent posts listing per day, pushing anything I actually give a damn about off the page? If so, count me in.

...Okay, yeah. The *ENTIRE* recent posts list has been completely scrolled through overnight by inane "forum games" spam. Please, *PLEASE* find some way to filter this crap out of the "recent posts" listing, if one doesn't already exist. If it does exist, please apply it with extreme prejudice.

I don't really much care about the games section, to be honest, so whether or not they're gone makes no difference to me.

Hmm, unfortunately you're in two groups (fursuit + opt-out), and permissions are overlapping. In order to fix it I'll have to go through all 600+ profiles and tick a little box, will have to see if I can automate it.

Maybe we could make the Fursuit group not give access to the Forum Games. Then give the people in the Fursuit group who haven't opted out, access to the Forum Games by another group. Then we would only have to update the people in the Fursuit group at most. Or maybe you're already ahead of me and thinking of something else.

I don't know if its working for me yet as I am still seeing some F.G. posts pop up whenever I hit the "show new posts since last visit" thing.

You guys are doing a pretty good job at running the board though, keep it up!
