What you say is true, I base my prices on comparable quality to other fursuit builders of my caliber. I know there are better makers than me, and I know that there are people who are not as good. When I set my prices I looked at people who had suits of similar quality to mine and I set my prices comparable to that.

I put a lot of effort and make strides to provide the best quality of suit that I can possibly offer. I think that this sets me above those who are offering cheap prices. I know from experience that most often cheap is not necessarily a good thing with suits. A lot of times those cheap suits are of very poor quality or are made without care and attention.

Just because it's cheap doesn't mean you get the consumer wanting to purchase it.

I would sooner have quality over a cheaper price.

A decent quality partial is at least $1000.

The last Quote I got for my suit was $3300

If someone is going to make something of comparable quality and it's cheaper then you would get my business

though I am pretty picky.

You are also right Sairys to compete sometimes one must lower their prices to get business. If I have to I will lower my prices so that I can get more commissions. I will evaluate my prices soon after I open for commissions.

I have to agree with Van_fox, there is alot of competition out there among suit builders. Alot of people search out the best price but they also keep an eye out for the best value for their buck. So builders do compete against each other for business. One of the major ways is a lower price compared to a similar quality builder.

I took a look at their site Van and they do really nice work. They are somewhat better than me and $650 would be way too much for me to charge but I can say that my price of $400-$450 for a partial suit is fair when I compare my suits to theirs

But you said a head alone would be over 1000$ or something. They offer 300$ for the head alone.

Actually I said that the head alone would be in the range of $200-$250 if you got it from me. A partial fursuit is around $450 from me. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding

Hmm very nice actually. Question, my snout kinda slopes and gets thinner to the point, are you able to do that or would it be just a buldge?

For sure I can! that muzzle shape was pretty generic for a canine, I can make it a lot thinner of you want. I would need a good character drawing or two to get it right but yeah its totally possible.

i have a husky head that i would like to have a fullsuit for.
i'd would like to how much for fullsuit,hand paws,feet paws,and tail.
