Hey, Hey! Welcome to the forums.
Vancouver is very fun place. Easy travel with Transit or a car.
We have Anime Evolution and are trying to start up a furry con called VancouFur.
Lots of fur events to go to. Vancouver has lots of trees, and it rains most of the time.
Easy to get to whistler, Downtown and many other places.
Lots of wildlife here.

Yes, so I've heard...the only problem is I'm afraid of letting my job go, because of how long I've been there (December 2003), so I'm going to inquire if a transfer is even possible cross-provinces...

I love the rain, trees, all that good stuff~ <3

Your in Calgary? In Vancouver our winter days are rarely under zero, more likely around +6, and when they are they almost never go -4. And in the summer you can expect 25 to 30 degrees on extreme days.

Having been to Calgary (lived in Alberta for 12 years) and been to Van several times, I would definitely choose Vancouver area. My 2c Oh and spinny head birdy thing sez you should :birdy:
