I kind of agree with a previous post about perhaps limiting to a month in advanced or maybe at most, two. Because i can foresee some people getting busy or forgetting since some of them are many months away. For those who don't check the forums that often due to busy lives and who would still like to contribute (me and a handful of others) are kind of shit outta luck on this stuff. I also think it might be a bit unfair to have people snagging more then one or two months a year :/ If no one claims that month at the time of choosing, sure. But it really does kick out any other who may want a chance to have art up on the banner.

If its still going to be first come first serve, i'd like to snag October.

Maybe everyone who wants to do a banner should have their name in a bucket and be drawn on the 15th to do art for the next month or something, and you can't get your name back in for the year after getting picked?

Sounds decent. But perhaps you put your name into months that you want only. Because i know i'd only have ideas for some months, not all. XD

If we end up getting WAAAY more submissions than months, I can simply shorten submissions to two weeks at a time instead of a full month.

Well, i know for me, unless i know i'm getting a spot, i wont be drawing. I don't have much time to spare and if i'm not guaranteed a spot, i can't spare the time for something that wont get posted, you know? XD
