I figured I'd bring to our attention the wonderful world of horse slaughter! Please note the sarcasm! I know that horse meat is supposed to be really good and everything but... One, there are health concerns, as a lot of the medications people use on horses (including the dewormer that they are usually fed once every 3 months) clearly state on the box NOT FOR USE ON HORSES INTENDED FOR CONSUMPTION. Two, there's the way the horses are treated when going to slaughter, and at the slaughter houses.


I'm not judging people who eat horse, though I don't think i'd ever be able to do it, personally. But there has GOT to be a better way to butcher them, don't you think?
