I did not wake up early enough this morning and the rest of the family drank all of the genuine stuff.  :-\

Ah, another early morning. This time I got up at four.

Woke up at 4:30 today, went straight to work. Finding it easier to get my tasks for the day done early, while things are still relatively quiet and the network fairly clear.

What do you do for a living? Must be nice having a computer to work from wherever you are.

This morning I awoke early enough that I didn't have to resort to instant coffee, today I enjoyed the real stuff! My brother was not very pleased however, he was the last to get up and I drank his cup.  :P

Game art, Ren. I telecommute. Have computer (With 12 gigs of memory and a decent quad core and GPU, bleh), can work.

Oh I see, are you from a corporate office or do you work from home? I am just curious. I have friends in the art industry, and it seems most people prefer to send in their work from home to the companies that employs them.

Which area of game design are you in? For example, do you build the settings? Character design? Game physics? Cinematics?

To be honest I do not know the first thing about video game design, but I find it interesting. X)

I work from home on environment art, personally. Level design, scene content production, object builds and so on. Character art is a separate department altogether, and even in my case I'm unusually broad; Normally design and production in the environment art side of things are separate. However, it is a somewhat smaller studio than say, Rockstar or Bioware.

It's actually sunny here for a change. I was awake at 0400. Got up a half hour later. Yes, I like my coffee in the morning too. :)
