Does your family know you're furry?

My parents know as little about me as possible, I know they would not care for they do understand I am in charge of my life and what not. I just see no need in telling any one anything. :P

my parents don't know. Don't think they'd care much. It's not so much that I keep it secret, as they've never really pried into my life that much. I never gave them reason to i guess.

my family pry at every little thing in my life! Where am I going? Who is that? How did you meet? What did you do?  Whats that? CONSTANT!!!! drives me insane I have to lie and i hate it! They ask questions about things I know they would not understand of would be very upset about so what do i do really I cant tell them

That must suck. My mom asks a lot of questions, but mostly things like "which friend is that again?" haha. I honestly don't think she'd care if I was a furry, she's pretty cool like that. My stepdad would likely have to do a lot of research before he could have a reaction, and even then I'm not sure what it would be. I know they used to watch CSI, but I'm not sure if they saw that episode, and even if they did, the worst that would come of it would be my mom teasing me about sex in fur.

I'm actually certain that my sister is a furry too.. don't know if she's aware of it yet, though.

Don't worry, I get no privacy either.  My room often times becomes a family room where everyone in the family just hangs out and talks.. i mean wtf!

Never had a problem with my family on it. Mostly because I've had weirder hobbies (What is a parent going to be more concerned about; That cute fox character, or the fact that their son is literally building a medieval artillery piece in the family workshop). Coincidentally, my parents didn't much mind the whole siege engine thing; I got design pointers from Dad on how to improve the floating-arm designs.  ;D

They don't know, but I'm sure they'd be perfectly OK with it. The majority of my family is pretty out of the loop when it comes to pop culture (they don't watch CSI or anything else like that) so they don't have any preconceived notions about the fandom. And they know I like dragons & wearing my suit anyways.

On an off-topic note- it's good to see there are other siege engine enthusiasts here! I've competed in trebuchet contests in WA for the past few years now and it's a blast!

i made a trebuchet out of paper for a school project and it launched grapes 50 feet lol didn't last vary long and one it got to the teacher the teacher couldn't stop playing with it and broke it before he could grad it so he gave me an A lol lol he was tossing paper balls all over the clas room the entire period  it was so funny

my mom knows i'm a furry, but she doesn't REALLY know what furries are, my dad doesn't know but i'm sure he wouldn't care... he doesn't about stuff like that.
