Meh, I lurked the WoW realm forums quite a bit. Now I hardly ever go there. Too much trash and garbage for my tastes.

Same here. I go there very occasionally when I need to know something very specific, but it's not an enjoyable place to socialize.

Anyhow. I have not been too big on forums, as I tend to be on messenger a lot more than on forums for chatting. However...

AHS RPG: Anime High School. This was a wonderful place for me to post, as it opened me up for being more direct with roleplaying, and taking control of it. However, I left because I wanted to RP more in IM than there.

Alberta Furry forums: Where I come from, simply! This is where I learned about the BC forums, since I was going to be moving here.

Neopets turned me into a furry when I was 13. Thanks to Peophins...
I AM NOT A PEOPHIN! I posted on their forums all the time, people got scared of my roleplaying because I was more mature about it. I quit Neopets when they changed their layout, now I just pop on once in a while when I'm bored.

im with this guy on the messenger thing never really been on forums much, for a little while after it changed to gaiaonline it was ok then it turned into a skudgey ass spam site pretyy much too many ankle biter and shit on there

I prefer forums to IMs because they create less of an expectation of instant response. I don't really want people nudging me constantly (yeah, I know I can set DND or whatever, but having to think about that all the time kind of outweighs what little value I get out of IMs to begin with).
