Hey Writers!!

My name is Rhari and I'm an artist. Now, why on earth am I crossing the scary sub-sections boundary?? Well, I'm looking for a writer, a collaborator and a mind like mine. I do not have a flair for story telling. Most of my sequential art is silent and strictly visually based, which for a comic isn't really appealing. (I'm given to understand that most people appreciate a story along with their art :D)

What I am looking for exactly is someone with whom I can collaborate locally, someone who would be willing to meet up with and work on a project. My problem is that I am not in the lower mainland. I live way out in Chilliwack and travelling is very difficult for me (Unreliable transport and a Child at home make such difficult)

The project would be between 50-100 drawn pages, hopefully ready for print for Rainfurrest 2011. I don't have set characters to use, but I specialize in Mammals and Taurs. The basic premise is I want to write/draw a G-Rated comic with an eventual Adult Spinoff. If the project goes well it would continue on in that fashion with a G-rated main body and an additional Adult edition/add-on. There is no real idea or plot yet but I do want to try something.

Anyone interested, or has questions, can post below or email me

Let me know what everyone thinks, and thank you kindly for checking out my post.

I might be able to get into this, depending on what you want to do plotwise...

To be honest, I'm not sure what I'm doing, hense why I need someone who can work with plot.

I am most known for my toothrottingly cute style but I could try and break from that.

I'll send you an e-mail. I have a bunch of ideas myself but been somewhat in a rut trying to get around to actually doing anything with them.

If you're looking to do something that's kind of light and slice-of-life-ish, I had a major brainwave today that could be good. Let me know if that's what you're aiming for!

What sorts of idea did you have for genral theme/genre?

What sort of era? (Fantasy, pre-modern, modern, post-modren, SF, etc)

Kind of world, and so on.  I've dome some collaboration on world-building in writing before.  Heck, I did a writing panel last RF.
