Banned bacause its actualy DUCK tape. Duct would imply that you would use it to do duct work in constuction. DUCK tape would not A) hold to pressure after a long period due to degridation, and B) hold up to constant heating and cooling. its actualy called sealing tape, and it was used in world war two to seal bullet and grenade cases to stop them from opening and to prevent water from entering. it was nick-named DUCK tape by english troops because it sounds like a quack when you un-roll it and water rolls off its back.
the tape you use on ducts is made of carbon strands and aluminum and is called FOIL TAPE!
