@ Cross: mine's black, not in the greatest shape ever, some paint fade in one spot and little dings and scratches etc, and a stock impreza bumper cause she had a really fugly veilside bumper...
and for those wondering about the a/f adjuster, it is a fuel delivery adjustment device, from the research i've done (not much info available as it seems to be a specifically japanese product) it apparently intercepts the signal from the mass air flow sensor (a/f = air flow, even though it's not actually adjusting air flow but rather the computer's interpretation of it and the resulting fuel delivery.) and sorry, i should have differentiated between air flow and air/fuel) it allows the user to adjust the signal using three knobs on a small cabin mounted box, one for low air flow, one for medium and one for high. it was already installed on the car when i bought it, and it's kind of hokey, but it allows for a fair bit of adjustment as opposed to actually properly tuning the fuel maps (requiring more $) and it seems to work alright within its limits. it's also the reason i installed the air/fuel meter, because i wanted to set it properly.

The recent cold snap did something to my engine. D: I think it's something that is run off one of the belts, the engine itself is still running smooth, just this horrible noise is being generated.

Only 3-4 more months until my car is finally paid off! Then I get to resist the temptation to buy a new one. A house or a condo is a higher priority at this point. :)

Nonetheless, I will dutifully lust after CTSes, Genesis coupes, Taurus SHOs, Infiniti G37s, and the like. ;)
