Ok lets see, we have,
Goths=Milluniem
Emos=Hot Topic
Mall Whores= Lasenza Girl
Douche bags= American Eagle
Furries=.....?

There needs to be a furry chain store. A store that has furry clothes, accesories, plush, Fur suit fabric, you name it. Even yiff stuff in the back room XD Now I can understand why there wouldnt be one already. But wouldnt that be awesome? Even though some people would think its sick and weird, there might be some problems with it. But I mean come on, tons of stores sell bongs and porn and guns, but no one cares. :3 I for one would shop there A LOT.

PurpleVeggie

That would be pretty awesome but sadly, we're just not mainstream enough. A store that sold only furry stuff would never make it. in Vancouver especially because the rents so high for commercial space :c. Maybe if there was a really successful online furry store everything furry to every furry they might open one or two IRL locations?

All that aside, WHAT SHOULD WE NAME OUR FANTASY FURRY STORE? :D
Quack :V

Silvermink

Yeah, I don't think it's a viable business plan, sadly.

Van_Fox

If Millenium can survive, a furry store can XD I suppose.

MooBear

if Millenium can afford moving to downtown Vancouver, right on Granville St. in the middle of all the action. I'm sure a furry store can survive >..<

Silvermink

I'm not. Goths are still a much bigger market, and people who like to nab bits of goth style are an enormous one.

But anyway.

Zen

Not enough sales on it's own.  You've either need huge markups or have to combine with other places.

Millenium isn't just goth clothing, it's got faries, steam punk, dnd and geek stuff, swords, etc etc.  So lots of things.

I'm not sure the demand would be there for just a furry store, unless you had lots of stuff for lots of people.  It would have to have a huge variety of things to appeal and last.

opening a costume shop would probably be a better way of going about this though i don't think there will be much profit in it

I thought Furries had Fabricland?

Thanks for calling me a Gothic Emo. I take that as a compliment. As for furry store... maybe not. Mascot and costume store is yes. Cuz people who hate furries would think it's cool if it's a mascot and costume store.

a mascot/fursuit rental shop would work and sell furry stuff on the side but since thee is alot of furry online stores thats going to make things hard. but renting out mascot/fursuits costumes might work but have to test the water and see if there is a big enough market in the general area.

Fabric land is lame well the one in Langley and Surrey are anyway... Dressew is much better for fur IMO. A pure (almost said "straight" lolol) fury store would be very interesting.. Fursuits, heads, paws, feet, drawings, how-to classes (like what Michaels had)...
There are 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those that don't.

I'd go with American Apparel and Club Monaco.....

...because we're all homosex.  :gay:

Well apparently since I like Millennium and Hot Topic... I am a Gothic Emo. If that's true, then that's awesome. I don't care if people call me Goth or Emo. I am not Homosexual though.
