So while browsing FA, I found a journal post that caught my attention, so I'm spreading the word!

Basically, four furries in Pennsylvania lost their home and pretty much everything they had. The house next to theirs caught fire, and it spread to their house... and it's a total loss... :(

If you have some money you can donate to help them get back on their feet - or clothes - or nonperishable food - anything would be much appreciated.

Also, if you could help by spreading the word on your journals, that will help as well.

Please. Pretty please. Winter is coming, and they really, really need our help.

Original journal is found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1830713/

I'll be starting a food bank drive on Sunday, after Howloween. Assistance would be greatly appreciated in this. All I ask is that you must meet the following criteria:
-You must be able to sit down outside, in the cold, from 10:00-18:00, for seven days.
-You may inform the person as to why we are doing this and who it goes to, but you cannot constantly ask for donations. Let the folks decide on that.
-Have a laptop handy to collect data on the food and money received from donations.

The location will be revealed during the convention.
I understand that scissors can beat paper, and I get how rock can beat scissors, but there's no way paper can beat rock. Paper is supposed to magically wrap around rock, leaving it immobile? Why can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody; a rock would tear it up in two seconds. When I play Rock-Paper-Scissors, I always choose rock. Then, when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper, I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist, and say, "Oh sorry, I thought paper would protect you."

I heard about that. Such a shame when that happens.  :(
