Dinsu

Hello everyone! Welcome to my thread about my Dinsu partial, which I am very excited to show to you!
I will post updates here whenever I can! Questions are very welcome.. I am always willing to lend a hand!

Anyways.. As a short introduction...
Dinsu is a Somau, a species I made up to cater to the novel I plan on writing. All in all, structurally they are just small-faced canines with huge ears that extend under their lower jawbone. They are born with white ears and facial markings, the rest of their body being a shade of grey. Upon adulthood, wealthy Somau get the white in their fur permanently dyed (older Somau generally have washed-out markings) certain colours representing family ties or other status based reasons. Some also choose to dye markings into their grey fur (hence Dinsu's stripes). So hopefully I don't get asked the good ol' "what the eff is she" question, hahaha. If you haven't seen her before, this is what she looks like http://insu.deviantart.com/#/d2urq4j

About the mask so far...
The mask has a plastic canvas and celluclay base (I hope to move to casting soon.) The eyes are resin-cast follow me. The jaw is talking sensitive.

Here is a video showing off the jaw and eyes

Not really a REAL Dinsu update, but due to lack of time I'll be wearing this tail for Halloween instead of Dinsu's huge tail. :3 IT MOVES THOUGH SO YAY.

I'll be taking commissions on these right away... In case you were wondering...

*looks in empty wallet...*

That's so cool!  How is it controlled, just a string?

And how much is your average cost for a tail like that?

I thiiiinkkkk I'll start at 140, 180 for airbrushing/spikes/whatever... Considering the cheapest one on the online market now is around 250 for just the skeleton I think it's a good deal... But I'm not sure.. I'm not confident in my prices yet. D:

There's two strings that run up your back with a special rig that I make (I still need to figure out how to make a sturdy adjustable rig before I can take commissions), and they attach around your shoulders. One shoulder pulls the tail right, the other pulls it left. 8D
