..these are only just a handfull of my favorites...the list would be far to long  :P

This Genre of games offer us hours of countless hours of enjoyment, from heartbreaking emotion to an intense feeling of triumph.  A clear scenes of moral justice and a powerful musical score. this genre can make you completely forget about your troubles and immerse you in their storyline and gameplay

so yah, what are your favourite rpg's? :D

So far my only favourite rpg is Oblivion, the map is huge, and the detail in the world of Cyrodil make it very immersive.

I'm an old-school RPG player, and have played tons of the pre-3D ones.  But I also have a played a few of the newer ones too.

Some my favorites:

Chrono Trigger
Elder Scrolls: Morrowind

I am currently working on Dragon Quest 9 (DS) and Borderlands (PC), and then I need to go back and finish Chrono Trigger (DS) and Mass Effect (PC).  I have a huge games backlog that I can never get through before more games come along ...

Ocarina of time is definatly one of my top favorite games of all time, from its great plot, game-play and music. a milestone for the Zelda series. but its an action-adventure game, not an rpg
