I HAVE A ROOMMATE  NOW  BUT PLEASE READ THIS
I recently had  a situation were a roommate was not honest with me about his mental disabilities. He arrived from Ontario smelling like he had not showered in weeks his clothes were filthy AND he did not think to bring clothes  or hygiene products!  he only brought his game systems !!!! He did not have a single penny on him!  so i had to take him to the salvation army .. but before hand i had to make a list for him of what he needed and then i had to tell him exactly what to say ! He was totally clueless. He creeps out my friends both male and female by asking them if they were single THREE times! They told him they weren't interested in males .. and that they were all ready mated. DID I MENTION HES A FURRY??
In conclusion, it turned out badly for him, i have cubs ages 11 and 10 ,  and child welfare told me to  ask him to leave cause he was a danger to my kids.so   the day it happened i took him down town  to  community living and tried to get an advocate for him and a  support worker. Then to welfare to get a bus ticket for him .then my worker  told me to run a missing persons search at the police station .then the police officer drove him to the hospital ..and that's were i left him in there care.
So any way please be honest with me and i will do the same for you .. I do not want this to happen to any one! both mentally disabled persons  or able bodied people!

Heya Fifi, you should prob mention what city you are in, and describe your living situation a little better :)

I'm not looking, I already live in a furry party house ;)

Sorry for the rough deal with the previous roomie, but there really are good people out there too. I'm amazed at the effort you went through to make sure this person made it out okay, but maybe a little better of a prescreening method should be advised.

To people who are curious about living in a furhouse- it can be pretty awesome! Very hard to be bored, as there's always stuff going on/people to talk to. They can be a fair bit of drama too, but not always. We've always considered ourselves lucky with our group of people. The main benefit is that they are CHEAP! The main drawback is they can be noisy, messy etc. Having lived with the doghouse folk for almost a year, I can say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else though :)
