I did a little work on this old guy

because I am putting him/her up for bidding on Furbid next week! (: It comes with the tail in the (blurry) fully body picture.
I figured I'd let you locals know a few days early just in case any of you are looking for a new costume without having to pay monster shipping fees.
It's a pretty old mask but has only been worn twice. It's more of a work of art than a football mascot costume (don't go smashing into people in the rain while wearing it.. It will fall apart)

Anyways, here are some pictures!
Forward vision is fabulous but I can also install buckram to cover your eyes completely, which will make the mask more effective but significantly reduce eyesight.

There will be more pictures and a video up on the bid page. I will post it here when it's finished tomorrow. I think I'll start bids at 150 and have a buyitnow option for 225.

High quality long pile fur runs around the neck and to the back of the skull. It is airbrushed with brown and black, and dappled with neon glow-in-the-dark blue paint. The rest of the mask is covered in various feathers (chicken, pheasant, goose and peacock). The tail is made of these feathers as well and attaches to a belt via loop.
The jaw is very sensitive and moves when you talk without you having to exaggerate your mouth.

It fits a 22-23 inch head, but the inside is plastic canvas and can easily be made to fit a larger (not huge) or smaller head. If you win the bid I can make it smaller or bigger for you but you still may need to edit it a bit to get the 'sweet spot' with the jaw.

The winner of the bid gets a free conbadge to go with their character. (to be completed afterwards as this character could be either male or female)
If someone chooses the buyitnow option I am including a high-detail one character commission.

Also in the making are a set of fox ears and an update on my Dinsu mask. (:

Sabretoothed Ermine

Wow! That's a really well-done gryphon mask :3 Good job!
