Singles Thread

Some of us are coming up with an idea for a Singles Thread. So furs can post their likes, dislikes, and so on, to make new friends and mates, and possibly find mates.

If any of you are interested in this sort of thread, to help themselves find new friends in their own area, or who share the same interests, we'd like to hear what you think!

Singles does not mean people without partners, Singles means individual people.

That's comparable to the Introductions board, but not quite the same, so I haven't completely dismissed the idea.

though i agree with rat, this can open up doors for people, moreso a written bio only available to official BCFCB Members to see.

That was what I personally was hoping for, and within this community it is much safer, and easier to make friends. Introductions board I feel more or less, just lets you say hi. I don't see a lot of people posting all status, but this also helps to post what others look for when finding friends, and thins out questions like no tomorrow. Well, that's what I'm hoping for anyway. It's not just a "Hi I exist", it's a "Hi, I want to meet others, I want to know others exist."  Or something like that. I think I'm ranting. Working a lot and little sleep does that. XD *flails and goes to shower and goes to bed because she has to be up in less than 6 hours for workies*

I'm not totally against the idea of a 'dating' section.  And by that I don;t just mean people that are lookign for dates, but more toward people that are willing to post (PG at MOST) experiences with dates, or ideas on where to go for a date.  Including resturants and so on.

Well you can use the search function to narrow your finds to only locals. I use it all the time. Works like a charm ^^

This just makes it easier for local furs, because going through searches, and not knowing what you're looking for is hard. You may find locals but not what they are into. This is for friends and what not in our area. I quit going to pounced because people from china and what not messaged me and that's not what I wanted.

Kaji actually found me on Pounced and directed me here (even though I had registered and had posts... it's okay. XD)

I think it would be a cool idea to have a thread like that but I won't cry over it if it's a no. :P

^_^ Pounced is nice but too wide spread, this works for the local community. It is just an idea and this poll will tell us who really does want it or not, that's the point of this poll. Since it's a community board, we will see what EVERYONE thinks.
